Terrace’s most highly decorated WWI veteran. Saw service in Gallipoli and the Western Front. Highly regarded for his leadership, mentioned personally by Charles Bean in the official war history.
Awarded the Military Cross, Distinguished Service Order, the Companion of St Michael and St George and posthumously awarded a Bar to the Distinguished Service Order.
