Elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Academy of Medical Sciences and Honorary Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries for his work in genomics. Peter is Director of the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics and Professor of Statistical Science at the University of Oxford.
