Matthew was a student at Toowoomba Grammar School from 2011-2013. He represented Australia in the 2016 Olympic Games (Rio de Janeiro) in Discus.
Whilst there have been a number of Toowoomba Grammarians who have represented Australia in the Olympics over the years, Matthew Denny has been recognised here due to his recent Old Boy status and his relative youth in Olympic Games selection.
